ファッションモデルの場合は季節感を半年間も先取りすることなど日常茶飯事で、夏に毛皮を着て撮影することだって当然あるでしょう。
逆に、冬だというのにビキニで震えながらのことも。
ということで、モデルというのはかなり辛い仕事をこなしてるんでしょうね。
これがグラビアモデルならセットでの撮影が多いから楽でしょうけど、それでも色々と大変だと思いますね。

それでも何とか見られるような画像にできたと思うのが真ん中です。
赤かぶりを補正しつつ黒くつぶれている髪の暗部を起こしてみました。

とくにピンナップのときは、肌の色とその質感をどう補正するかが難しい。
元画像が1600×1200（ピクセル）で186kbなので最終的に1230×850で切り抜き、約3mbのピクセルに仕上げてもそれほど荒が目立ってないと思います。
あと、残念に思うのは、
本人自身とメークアーティストたちの責任だと思うけど、外人特有の無駄毛や産毛の未処理が目立ちますね。
これはJennifer Hawkinsだけでなく、Alessandra Ambrosio, Emina Cunmlaj, Gisele Bundchen, Petra Nemcovaにしても、とにかくうなじから顔にかけての無駄毛がかなり多い。
せっかくの美人も、それで艶消しになってしまう。

最近は日傘もダーク系の色が多いことだし・・・

ここからが画像処理ソフトの「Photoshop」の活躍です。
２枚の画像を合体させたあと、アクションというコマンドで雨を降らしてみました。
ま、それとなく雰囲気を出すことはできたと思いますが、皆さんはどう感じますかね・・・
それにしても、画像のレタッチをしてると、時間のたつのも空腹も忘れ、半日などあっという間にたってしまう。
これがレタッチの醍醐味とでもいうのでしょうか・・・
横文字の正確な発音などできないので、いちおう外人の場合は翻訳しています。
そこで「Petra Nemcova」をYahooで和訳してみると「ペトラ ニェムツォバー」という結果になったけど、ここでは「ぺトラ ネムコバ」と呼称します。
それにしてもペトラ・ネムコバのこの画像はゴージャスというかエレガントですね。
真っ赤なドレスがよく似合ってるし、ホテルらしきベッド際でのモーニング。
いかにもっていう感じです。

今日はエルビス・プレスリーの命日です
